Seeking therapy, especially for the first time, can be a daunting experience. It is completely normal to be nervous about this. However this is the first step in your recovery and changing your life. I will make this experience as comfortable as possible, ensuring that you feel safe to speak about, and explore any difficulties that you have, with care, empathy and within a trusting, non-judgemental and confidential space.

I am an experienced and accredited Counselling Psychologist. I hold a Doctorate degree from Glasgow Caledonian University, in addition to a BSc (hons) Degree in Psychology. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a member of the Division of Counselling Psychology (DCoP).
I have ten years experience working in adult mental health and social care. Some of the places I have worked include hospitals, residential settings, neuropsychological rehabilitation, care homes and third sector organisations. I currently split my time working in the private sector and the NHS.
